The Senate approved at its June meeting to confer the title of Emeritus Professor on Prof. Chen Yong-qi, which will take effect on 1 October 2009. Prof. Li Zhilin has recently been awarded the prestigious Doctor of Science (DSc) degree by his alma mater – the University of Glasgow in Scotland, UK, for his outstanding contribution to the area of multi-scale representation of spatial data. Public Transport Enquiry Service, which is a collaborative project of LSGI & Transport Department, HKSARG, has now been launched to the public. |
