Presentation Instructions

Oral Presentation

Each conference presenter will be allocated a timeslot of 25 minutes in total of the first 20 minutes for presenting paper, and the remaining 5 minutes for Q & A. Good time-keeping is crucial for the smooth running of the conference.

Our helper will put up an initial reminder after 15 minutes of presentation. When there is one minute left the organizer helpers will put up a final reminder. If the presentation is over-run the helper will inform the Chairman. Q & A session will be immediately started after 20 minutes of your presentation.

Poster Presentation

The poster session is your great opportunity to present your work directly to other participants and to discuss it with them. The session will be held in CF305 of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 10 Nov 2007, and poster decoration is requested to be set up at 8:30 - 9:00am.

The poster panel is 1 m in width and 2m in height. Standard poster display is 841mm in width x 1189mm in height (A0 size). It is upon the authors¡¦ responsibility to prepare their own poster presentation following the dimensions of the poster panel. Each panel is labelled with the title of paper and the name of author. Please locate your panel for your presentation.

Please kindly use material which is not too heavy and which can be fastened with Velcro tapes (fastening tape). Pins or any other fastening material which would damage the poster panels are forbidden.
