Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geomatics

(4-year Curriculum / Full-time) (applicable to students admitted before Sep 2018)

This programme aims to provide inter-disciplinary education to nurture professionals in Land Surveying (LS), Geo-Information Technology (GIT) and Underground Utility Surveying (US).

The programme is unique and has a large demand in Hong Kong. Students will study 1 of the 3 specialisms, namely LS, GIT and US, in years 3 and 4 after the common foundation studies in years 1 and 2. Students will gain practical work experience through our local/international summer internship training in the Government and industry. Students will have the opportunity to participate in sponsored international exchange programmes to study for 1 semester in an overseas or mainland partner university. Graduates are entitled to join either the graduate surveying or engineering training schemes of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (all specialisms) and the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (GIT specialism).
