LSGI 1st Smart City Research Salon 2018 – Mobility Behavior of Elderly

The Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics (LSGI) held its first Smart City Research Salon on Feb 7, 2018 at the Laboratory for Smart City and Spatial Big Data Analytics, PolyU.
Mr. K.K. Ling, Director of Design Institute for Social Innovation, was invited to join the salon and share his expertise and innovative ideas on smart city research, especially on Double Aging (i.e. Aging Building & Aging Population). Prof. John Shi, Head of LSGI, gave an introduction on research direction and recent project of the research team. Research team members included Dr Liu Xintao, Dr Xu Yang, Dr Matthew Pang, Dr Zhang Anshu and Ms Serein Han. Members discussed the feasibility of new research directions and exchanged their ideas and suggestions on smart city innovations.
